Frequently asked questions
How big can the group be?
We host groups from 4 up to 300 participants. To ensure everyone is actively involved and can play hands-on, we split larger groups into smaller teams of up to 6 people.
How long does an event take?
You should plan for a total of roughly 2 hours. This includes the welcome and briefing, around 90 minutes of active puzzle-solving outdoors, and the grand finale and award ceremony at the end.
Where do the games start and end?
We meet at a central, easily accessible spot in the heart of your chosen city. The game starts and ends right there. You'll receive the exact meeting point and coordinates with your booking confirmation.
Do we need to download an app or bring anything?
No app installs or personal devices are needed! Your gamemaster will provide everything you need on the day, including a modern team tablet and a physical puzzle case filled with clues. You only need to bring comfortable shoes.
What happens if we get stuck on a puzzle?
Don't worry! If a riddle proves too tricky, your team can request helpful hints directly via the tablet. If you are still stuck, you can even reveal the solution to keep the game moving.
What happens if it rains?
There is no such thing as bad weather! Our puzzle cases are weatherproof, and we play in typical British weather — just bring an umbrella. In the rare case of severe storms or official weather warnings, we will of course work with you to find a solution or reschedule.
What happens if our group size changes or people fall ill?
We offer flexible and risk-free planning for corporate events. If individual team members cannot attend (e.g., due to illness), we have a straightforward refund policy. Full details will be provided with your specific booking.
Are the routes accessible?
Yes, our routes cover roughly 1.8 to 2.4 km and are largely barrier-free, without major obstacles or stairs. Please let us know in your enquiry if anyone in your team has specific accessibility requirements so we can plan accordingly.
Can pregnant women or older colleagues participate?
Absolutely. Our outdoor escape games are not a marathon. We walk at a very relaxed pace, and the distance is manageable for almost anyone. There are also usually opportunities to sit down along the route.
Can we bring a dog?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are very welcome to join the outdoor hunt! Just remember to bring everything your four-legged friend might need for a 2-hour walk through the city.
What happens if we arrive late?
Please try to arrive on time, as our gamemasters often run multiple events back-to-back. If you are slightly delayed, please contact us immediately. A significant delay might mean we have to shorten your playing time to stick to the schedule.
Which languages can we play in?
Our escape games are played in British English by default. However, we are happy to offer the experience in German or other languages upon request.
How far in advance should we book?
We recommend booking 2–3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date and time slot. However, last-minute bookings are sometimes possible depending on our gamemaster availability — just drop us a message.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all standard business payment methods, including payment by invoice (bank transfer), credit card, and PayPal.
