Your gamemaster is already waiting at a central spot in the heart of Birmingham, banner up and equipment ready. Say hi, let the late-arrivals settle in — no one feels rushed.
Quick intro to the mission, the rules, and how the puzzle case works. We split everyone into balanced teams of up to 6 people, hand out the sealed cases and tablets, and each team picks a name.
Playing with a larger group? Multiple teams work the same case in parallel on different routes. We keep the scores secret to build the suspense until the grand finale and award ceremony at the end.
From rendezvous to grand finale — decode clues, race the clock, hunt for hidden details on real streets. You choose the pace and the strategy. No scripted reveals, no boring rooms.
Everyone returns to the central base. We crown the winning team, share the highlight reel, and hand out small prizes. From here, you are perfectly placed to head to a nearby restaurant for a proper finish.

hello@epicescape.co.ukWe meet at a central spot in the heart of Birmingham. The game starts and ends right there. You'll receive the exact meeting point and coordinates with your booking confirmation.
We host groups from 4 up to 300 participants. To ensure everyone is actively involved, we split larger groups into smaller teams of up to 6 people.
You should plan for a total of roughly 2 hours. This includes the welcome and briefing, around 90 minutes of active puzzle-solving outdoors, and the grand finale and award ceremony at the end.
Our puzzle cases are weatherproof, and we play in light rain — just bring an umbrella! In the rare case of severe storms or official weather warnings, we will of course work with you to find a solution or reschedule.
The route covers about 1.8 to 2.4 km and is largely barrier-free, without major obstacles or stairs. Please let us know in your enquiry if you have specific accessibility requirements so we can plan accordingly.
We recommend booking 2–3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date. However, last-minute bookings are sometimes possible depending on our gamemaster availability — just ask us!
